Earlier this month, Car Design Fetish launched the Batmobile Design Competition, a design competition centered around the Batmobile, with an aim to find enthusiasts who can create amazing designs for the vehicle used by the Dark Knight in his Gotham-saving enterprises. The results are out now, with Paul Denton as the winner of the US category and Matt Gould as the winner of the International category. While Paul Denton was chosen for the menacing atmosphere and the sketch technique, Matt Gould had designed a sleek, rocket-shaped Batmobile modeled in 3D Studio Max.
Honorable mentions in the US category went to Peter Cansfield, Leonardo Magana and Fernando Hernandez. In the International designs category, Yan Gostev, Matt Gould (for his second entry) and Tim Jester received the honorable mentions. Entries for the competition were selected by Car Design Fetish’s team, along with Arvind Ramkrishna from DrivenMavens and concept artist Dwayne Vance.
